..... Your point is?

Do you ever get in one of those moods where no matter what anybody says, they fail to make you believe what they have to say is important? When whatever they say, you're still thinking, "So what?" And then no matter what they say, they fail to answer that all important question.
Perhaps I have an attitude problem. The nice thing is that it only strikes at random times. However, it does choose the least conveinent times to strike. Tonight, for instance, in writing class. I usually do pretty well paying attention, but tonight we watched a video to spark topic ideas, entitled Is God Green? Well, I have pretty easy-going veiws on the enviroment, so this video didn't do much for me. You know, take care of the earth because we're here for eighty-odd years and somebody shouldn't have to clean up your mess after you. Views like that. But this video was a documentary of sorts, where the PBS guy went around and talked to different Christian Evangalists about their veiws on the enviroment and global warming. The problem was he didn't do a good job. He only went to the people who held the most extreme veiws one way or the other, and of course made one party look like the villains and the other look like angels. You know which is which, it's PBS. Oddly enough my essay was partially about propaganda techniques, so I noticed the fallacies. Whenever that beast called politics gets ahold of something it is forever lost to reason.
