Cell phones and their infalliable way of Interfering.

So I cannot seem to live a day without doing one or more stupid things. Whether or not they're my fault, these random happenings continue to make me look and feel acutely blonde. Today has been relatively mild so far, but I still have a dumb story, never fear. Today I opened the store at work. Immediately after I switched the sign, two old people came in. They asked the normal questions about flavours and menus, and I handed the old lady a menu to peruse. While she did so, I felt my phone begin to vibrate in my pocket, and, to my horror, it began ringing. I had forgotten to set it to vibrate. My phone is new, so I'm not particularly familiar with its functions. When it began ringing in my pocket, I frantically pressed all the external buttons, and, failing to find the one that muted the call, I opened the phone. I forgot that opening the phone answered the call. As I tried to ignore the call, I noticed that it was my mom calling me. Having run out of options, I cursed inwardly and snapped my phone shut. Yep. I hung up on my mom.

  2. LOL. Too funny.

I have done similarly stupid things. My worst is answering the phone a few feet from the checkout and answering because I assumed the call would be "quick"....it never is when I'm in that particular place/situation. sigh...

I think it's good for us to be unintentionally but BLATANTLY rude occasionally - builds character.
