Worse than the Blob.

Once upon a time, there was a big ugly mud puddle that liked to lurk in dark places and try to eat people. One day, the ravenous puddle decided that it would like to eat a girl's feet, specifically Bethany's. The nasty deep puddle oozed its way across the world and hid in the dark right next to where Bethany parked her car. When Bethany came home, it moved right outside her driver's side door. When Bethany got out of the car, the puddle grabbed hold of her foot and tried to eat her. She slipped, almost fell in, and narrowly escaped a gruesome death. She cried out in anguish and terror, and ran away before the puddle could eat her entirely. The mud puddle, discouraged by its failed attempt to eat a young girl, slunk away into the darkness, perhaps to prey upon smaller, less fit creatures than Bethany. She still bears the scars of that terrifying encounter with the voracious mud puddle. The End.
